Liverpool's flop Mario Balotelli offered escape route to Italian Serie A side Bologna

The Reds have tried to send Balotelli back to his native Italy but his £100k wages have so far proved to be a stumbling block for most clubs Liverpool flop Mario Balotelli is being offered an escape route to Bologna. It comes as Balotelli's representatives are frantically trying to also set up a deal with Lazio while Sampdoria have also expressed interest. Liverpool will have to take a huge financial hit on the £16million they paid AC Milan last summer and may also have to subsidise his £100,000-a-week wages. But Serie A club Bologna have publicly admitted their interest in doing a loan deal - as long as Balotelli lowers his £5m-a-year wage demands.
